As part of the LambPlus programme, farmers record a variety of key events such as: Mating, Pregnancy scanning, Lambing information, and Weights.

Have you recorded your 2023 mating? If you still haven’t, read first this information (click here).

At this time of the year, it’s very important to check your Mating report and that all rams and ewes are properly recorded, according to the mating type and status.

Once you access to your report, you will find the following information;

• Ram Usage
• Ewe Mating Statistics
• Matings
• Ewes Not Mated.

*You can download the report in Excel and change the year selected (top right)*

It’s very important at this stage of the season to check:

• Ram mating team recorded
• Matings recordings: ewe selected, mating date, mating type, ram used.
• Ewes not mated

Check that there are no ewes missing their records, and ensure that you don’t keep dead or sold ewes in your inventory.
